Forestry<\/h1>\r\n

The forestry operation of the Fischhorn estate covers a total of 1,208 hectares of forest. In close cooperation with forestry, hunting and pasture management, we establish the forest areas of our forestry operation with site-appropriate coniferous\/mixed deciduous forests and thus create healthy, stable and diverse forests that fulfil economic and ecological goals and are adapted to climate change.<\/p>\n

Management is carried out in close co-operation with scientific institutions and the local forestry authorities. In particular, the reforestation with a coordinated hunting concept after the windthrow in 2002 and the beetle infestation in the following years has attracted a great deal of attention both nationally and internationally.<\/p><\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div>

Firewood<\/h2>\r\n

On request, you can buy split and ready-to-burn firewood from our Fischhorn warehouse. In exceptional cases, firewood can also be purchased from a stick or forest road.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n
