We are a private agricultural and forestry business with a clear goal: the respectful and sustainable management of our meadows, forests and mountain pastures! We achieve this by consistently harmonising the individual branches of our business: hunting, forestry, agriculture and tourism.
Half of our areas are located in the Hohe Tauern Salzburg National Park.
We offer:

- high-quality breeding animals from our hornless suckler cow herd with Simmental cattle and Pinzgauer cattle and our spacious agricultural fallow deer and sika deer enclosure.
- high-quality meat and sausage products that come from animals that have spent their entire lives in our region. Our game meat products, which come from our own mountain pastures, mountains and forests, are unique. Our products have been processed in the traditional way for decades to ensure the highest quality.
Gut Fischhorn is also the leaseholder of the Kitzsteinhorn. We have a close partnership with the Kaprun glacier railway.

Hunting experience
Experience unique hunting moments in our more than 10,000 hectares of contiguous hunting grounds in the company of our experienced professional hunters. Our packages offer the opportunity to hunt six different game species. For an unforgettable experience in an impressive natural setting, 9 different hunting lodges in idyllic locations are available to our guests.
Agriculture
As an organic farm, we attach great importance to the sustainable and ecological management of our meadows, pastures and mountain pastures. We manage the land with a herd of around 200 suckler cows. Our hornless Fleckvieh and Pinzgauer cattle contribute to a high level of biodiversity as habitat creators and landscape managers. Hunting, forestry and tourism also benefit from this.
Breeding animals
In addition to the sale of meat products, we also offer the sale of breeding animals at Gut Fischhorn. If you are interested, we will be happy to inform you about our current availability and send you more detailed information and pictures of the respective animals.
Hunting industry
Our 10,000 hectare hunting ground is managed by us in a highly professional manner with more than 3 professional hunters. Around 300 roe deer, red deer, chamois and mouflon are shot here every year. 70% of the kills are regulation kills, which are carried out by our professional hunters. These are used for meat production and to prevent damage caused by game.
Forestry
The forestry operation of the Fischhorn estate covers a forest area of 1,208 hectares and, in addition to protecting against natural hazards, also serves sustainable timber production. The wood is an important economic resource for the company and is processed and marketed via local sawmills. Respectful and sustainable forest management is a priority. Supported by hunting, our management methods promote a species-rich, climate-fit forest stand, protect the environment and nature and have a positive impact on them.
